As the inaugural Executive Officer for Shared Vision for the Growing North, Sarah brings with her a long history of senior management roles in health, mental health, social policy, strategy and research. Her experience across a range of sectors and settings means she brings unique skills and experiences to lead the SVGN partnership platform. Sarah has a keen interest and passion for achieving equity in women’s health, especially sexual and reproductive health. She is Co-Chair of the Whittlesea Reconciliation Group and has made Aboriginal health a key priority for SVGN. Her personal experience of caring for a parent with Alzhiemer's has led her to invest in making sure carer’s voices are heard and valued throughout the health system.
