Sharing our learnings

Local expertise, Local learning, Local outcomes

Sharing our learnings is how we showcase our local actions. Shared Vision for the Growing North members are hungry to learn and are driven by a strong social purpose. We focus our efforts on the best way to achieve positive health outcomes for our communities.

We do this by accessing local expertise, by embracing ideas others may call radical and by always searching new approaches to old problems. We develop whole of catchment advocacy campaigns. We focus on what matters most to our communities: staying physically, mentally and socially well.

EVIDENCE GUIDES -  We collect evidence on a range of topics that are of interest to members and collate them into summaries for action.

ADVOCACY - We create local messaging and advocacy campaigns and on a range of topics that are of interest to members. We use a range of media channels to ensure our messaging reaches our target audiences.

MEET THE LOCALS – We showcase locals in action, including health service providers and the growing north community.

Evidence guides

Our evidence guides seek to share the science behind key health topics that are of interest to members. Our formula: high quality literature + best practice interventions + key messages = tangible recommendations for local action.
