Building local evidence for a healthier Growing North
Creating Local Evidence
Creating Local Evidence (CLE) is a specialist program of Shared Vision for the Growing North. We are committed to developing and building the local prevention evidence base to align with Shared Vision for the Growing North's mission to create a healthier north for current and future populations.
We do this by supporting local, member-initiated projects and programs and by providing technical assistance to our members and the communities they support. We develop rigorous evaluations of innovative interventions so that we can create impact at scale.
EVIDENCE – We evaluate projects and partnerships, building the best local practice evidence base as we go.
INDICATOR DATA – We use the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as our performance indicators. We want our work to drive positive health changes locally, but to also contribute to the global initiative to improve the health and wellbeing of the planet.
POLICIES – We use policy papers and position statements to drive local change. Our members have a united voice on issues that are important to building healthy systems, healthy communities and healthy children and families.
SYSTEMS – Health systems work best when they have a shared vision. Through our partnership platform we collaborate on key health areas and populations groups to achieve lasting change.
