The Shared Vision for the Growing North partnership platform is a collaboration of organisations involved in prevention and the planning of health services in the northern growth corridor of Melbourne.
Our Shared Vision is to improve the health and wellbeing of current and future populations in the Cities of Hume and Whittlesea and the Shires of Mitchell and Murrindindi.
Together we will change the way prevention is coordinated in the Growing North.
Each month we will update this section to share the local voices of the Growing North. We will post your radical ideas, how we are taking action to build collaboration with our communities and we will celebrate our impact. Sharing successes are important for knowing where we have been, our learning along the way and where we would like to go in the future.
We believe ideas that aim to reduce inequality in health deserve attention. But what is a "radical idea"? We ask leaders from our partner organisations what their radical ideas for a healthier growing north are.
Collaboration without champions is just a buzz word. At Shared Vision for the Growing North we prefer our buzz to follow meaningful action and outcomes. And there are some in the growing north that lead the way towards building a lasting culture of collaboration.
Every month we celebrate a platform partnership or project that is delivering on our shared vision to improve the current and future health and wellbeing of the Growing North.
